This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Defeating Putin’s strategy to “wait out” Western support to Ukraine.
Ten year bilateral support agreements getting signed with Ukraine (9 so far), and the big agreement with the USA is anticipated in the next month or two.

“NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated during an unexpected visit to Kyiv on April 29 that Ukraine’s Western allies must provide long-term, predictable military assistance to Ukraine and signal to the Kremlin that Russia cannot “wait out” Western support for Ukraine...
...Stoltenberg stated that he expects Ukraine’s Western allies to soon announce additional unspecified military assistance commitments and stressed that NATO member states need to make “major,” multi-year financial commitments to support Ukraine and emphasize to Moscow that Russia cannot win by “wait[ing] out” Western support for Ukraine.
Zelensky noted during the press conference that NATO and Ukraine continue to work towards further interoperability of their forces, and Stoltenberg expressed confidence in Ukraine’s eventual accession to NATO.”

The extended process of fumbling for the wallet, hoping that someone else will pick up the bill...
Now that the long term agreements are being signed however, Ukraine aid and Defense Industrial Base expansion are becoming embedded budget lines, with lives of their own - across many diversified countries, including several that each have bigger economies than Russia.
It was slow to get it started, but it is becoming more reliable, as more countries commit to it long term.
Nine bilateral support agreements have been signed already; with Latvia, Finland, the U.K., Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, and the Netherlands - USA, Sweden and Norway reportedly nearing completion (May/June). Czechia and Portugal have teams actively working on theirs.
These agreements were the fruit of last Summer’s G-7 meeting and the NATO Summit in Vilnius. I anticipate that this Summer, strategies will be updated and new commitments agreed to at the NATO Summit in DC this July (75th Anniversary of NATO).
The threat of a Trump presidency also has many NATO countries scrambling to catch up on their obligations, in a way we have not seen in a long time. Art of the Deal.
But ultimately, Putin gets the prize for NATO fundraiser of the decade. From NATO’s website:
“In 2024, two thirds of (US) Allies are expected to meet or exceed the target of investing at least 2% of GDP in defence, compared to only three Allies in 2014. Over the past decade (since Putin’s first invasion of Ukraine, and a resulting revised commitment strategy in NATO), NATO Allies in Europe have steadily increased their collective investment in defence – from 1.47% of their combined GDP in 2014, to 2% in 2024.”
On Average, the Europeans are finally meeting their 2% of GDP NATO commitment this year. Hard core new members Sweden and Finland did more than their share, but all members are stepping up to some degree.
That trend of increasing Defense spending is accelerating, both within NATO, and among major non-NATO allies like Japan.
The June G-7 Summit in sunny Southern Italy will likely indicate what degree of additional commitment might be expected at the July NATO Summit (they will have roughly the same as Intelligence analysis as the NATO summit a few weeks later).
Whatever documents and guidance emerge from the NATO Summit will grind through the bowels of the Pentagon and Allied Defense Ministries, as well as NATO itself, embedding those decisions in their budgets and programs, for years to come.
A big chess piece moved with the US aid package, and now the players will be re-assessing the board for the coming year as conditions change, and preparing for the epochal depletion of the old Soviet arsenals, coming into view more clearly during 2025.

The ashes of the great commander Suvorov were urgently brought to Moscow
This happened a few days after the arrest of Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov. Suvorov’s remains were brought at the personal request of Sergei Shoigu.
“Sergei Kuzhugetovich is having difficult times now. That’s why he wanted to pray near the ashes of Alexander Vasilyevich and think about important things. Now Sergei Kuzhugetovich is sure: everything will be fine!”, a source close to Shoigu told us.
According to him, Suvorov’s ashes have already been returned to the front. He is located “somewhere in the Ocheretino area” and “helps our fighters advance.”
“We are advancing with serious losses. Therefore, we expect that Alexander Vasilyevich will help, and fewer of our guys will die. Both in the DPR and in other sectors of the front,” the military man explained.

Shoigu ordered to strengthen Crimea with the help of the ashes of Grand Duke Potemkin
The remains of Prince Grigory Potemkin-Tavrichesky, which were taken out of Kherson in 2022 , will be transported across Crimea to strengthen morale and protect our military. This decision was made by Sergei Shoigu.
“The situation in Crimea now is difficult, military personnel are dying, we are suffering losses - let’s remember the same Dzhankoy and the recent tragic events there. Crimea needs the intercession of great figures of Russian history. Prince Potemkin is just such a person,” one of the deputy defense ministers told us.
According to him, it will be especially important to take the remains of the Grand Duke to air defense units, which in Crimea “now does not always work as it should.”
Another source in the ministry noted: Shoigu recognized the successful actions with the ashes of commander Alexander Suvorov , who continue to be carried along the front line.
“Sergei Kuzhugetovich is confident that the ashes of Alexander Vasilyevich strengthened the morale of our military, and we are now moving forward at the front. Prince Potemkin can become the heavenly protector of Crimea, for which he did a lot during his lifetime,” our interlocutor is sure.
We have decided not to express our opinion on this initiative. Let us only note that among the military there are more and more supporters that the ashes of Suvorov ( who was damaged as a result of one of the shelling ) be returned to the grave. According to our information, Shoigu is not yet considering this option.

The compilation of registers will begin with candidates for officials, but plans include checking all current government officials. Both at the federal level and at the regional level. Inspections and compilation of registers will take from six months to a year.
The Ministry of Justice will also have to draw up a questionnaire that will be filled out by all officials and candidates for positions in government.
There will be questions not only about sexual orientation, but also about attitudes to traditional Russian values, perceptions of abortion, and so on. There will also be questions about contacts with people of non-traditional sexual orientation, their presence among relatives and close friends.
Men who will apply for positions of power will also have to bring a certificate from a doctor stating that they have not engaged in same-sex sex. All current male officials will be required to provide such certificates, but later than applicants for positions.
Checks of candidate officials and current officials in test mode may begin in the next month or two - even before the adoption of any laws on this topic.
