This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Hard to tell how Putin will react. Essentially his power and his life are at stake and if he is in his bunker mode then compromise will be difficult.
I feel a certain amount of sympathy for the Russian people having this guy in control, and controlling what they know. Much like kalifornia, but the citizens do bear some responsibility for voting for the folks in power who created this mess.
Tragic all around
Ukraine and the United Kingdom signed a centennial cooperation agreement.
Under the agreement, the United Kingdom will expand the training program for Ukrainian military personnel and develop cooperation in the field of long-range weaponry and weapons creation. pic.twitter.com/egyqOF9aHH— WarTranslated (Dmitri) (@wartranslated) January 16, 2025
Just thank g the Royal Couple (Ivanka and Jarred) are not advising him again.
Trump’s Terms:
Putin’s military leaves all of Ukraine - including Crimea; pays reparations; returns children and parents kidnapped to Siberia; make war criminals available to Ukraine to be tried.
In exchange, all sanctions lifted over time & as warranted.
There is now nothing to stop Ukraine from completely devastating Russia's oil and gas industry and it's going to happen.
Western policy makers need to understand that a corner has been turned.
Putin can make NO demands.

Drill baby drill.
Among the captives are officers, sergeants, and soldiers from motorized rifle units, naval infantry, airborne forces, and other divisions—hailing from various regions of Russia and occupied Sevastopol.

According to them, a Chinese company has decided to buy out 100% of LLC Inskaya Mine in Russia's Kemerovo region, which was on the verge of bankruptcy.
Moreover, the potential owners have already found to whom and where to sell coal, the company's representative Tatyana Silenko said in court.
The Federal Tax Service (FTS) has filed claims against the mine in the amount of 230 million rubles ($2 244 460). Due to the difficult financial situation, the agency granted an installment plan for tax payments. The relevant concessions from the FTS are valid until 2027.
In October 2024, Denis Nemykin, general director of Inskaya, reported that four Chinese companies are ready to finance the enterprise for 2.4 billion rubles ($23 420 455).
China will make the most of Russia's weaknesses.

Putin did that!

“Moscow has been stealthily funding much of its war costs with risky, off-budget financing”
I think that the bulk of that huge surge in corporate and household borrowing in Russia since the invasion has been from economic stimulus and support programs, to counter the effects of sanctions on the economy. That is where the bulk of the newly printed rubles have been going.
On the macro level, sanctions have had a dramatic effect on debt levels, inflation and interest rates.
“There is now nothing to stop Ukraine from completely devastating Russia’s oil and gas industry”
Quite frankly, the gas industry is already fairly devastated.
Russia hangs on its oil industry - their Center of Gravity.
Kinetic attack, and full bore economic sanctions can bring that industry down in 2025.
Then it is chaos time for the Russian economy, Government finances, and likely, domestic politics.
Also known in the West, as Popcorn Time.
“Chinese business has started buying out distressed assets from Russian entrepreneurs”
Far from starting, they are already far down that road, as evidenced by the Russian automobile industry.
But extraction industries like mining and hydrocarbons are the Crown Jewels of Russia’s economy - and also have long been an area of expertise for China’s Belt and Road Initiative scam, to corrupt or fool local government officials, to gain long term control of such valuable assets.
It is a match made in Hell.
Now that Russians are increasingly desperate to sell, the rest of the world is not bidding, because of Putin’s rapacious thefts from foreign investors over these last three years, and the sanctions. They will have to take whatever scraps the new Chinese overlords deign to toss their way.
Putin did that in record time.
He is the Doom of Russia.
“Today is a truly historic day. Relations between Ukraine and the United Kingdom are closer than ever. We have reached a new level — this is more than a strategic partnership. We have signed a 100-year partnership agreement,” Zelensky stated. The agreement aims to deepen bilateral relations in the defense sphere and outlines continued military assistance to Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, in January 2024, Zelensky and former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak signed a security cooperation agreement during Sunak’s visit to Kyiv. That document solidified the UK's support for Ukraine, including intelligence sharing, medical and military training, and defense-industrial collaboration. The British government earlier revealed details of the 100-year partnership agreement, describing it as a landmark step to boost military cooperation, particularly in maritime security. The agreement establishes a new framework for strengthening security in the Baltic Sea, Black Sea, and the Sea of Azov, aimed at deterring Russian aggression.
Our 100 Year Partnership is a promise that we are with you, not just today or tomorrow, but for a hundred years – long after this war is over and Ukraine is free and thriving once again.

“A Russian source claimed that Ukrainian drone and artillery capabilities are providing Ukrainian tanks with tactical advantages over Russian tanks”
Stepping back and looking at the big picture, this is truly amazing.
Russia no longer has a tank advantage in Ukraine. Russia no longer has an Artillery advantage in Ukraine. These have been the hallmarks of the Red Army, for generations - the Russian way of war.
Gone.
In its place, the pre-Soviet peasant meat waves.
What hath Putin wrought?
He is a Master Strategist.
These N Korean troops in Ukraine are a figment of the imagination of the warmongers in the West, much like the J6 insurrectionists or the threat of GlowBull warming. No one has ever seen them, and they likely don't exist.
“These N Korean troops in Ukraine are a figment of the imagination”
We are talking about the ones in Kursk, but others were killed earlier in Donetsk (Advance Party officers).
They are as real as Santa Claus.
