This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Kadyrov could be killed? Unexpected information has emerged
The scale of the problems that arose after the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane seems to be only just beginning to grow. At least for some people. Information has emerged that after the plane crash, Ramzan Kadyrov has additionally strengthened his security; authoritative people have advised him not to stick his neck out of Grozny once again. And certainly not to leave Chechnya in the near future.
As it turned out, a close relative of a highly respected person in Azerbaijan was on board. Moreover, he was also supposed to fly on this flight, but at the last moment the plans changed. This man is said to be close to Ilham Aliyev. We know his name, but for certain reasons we will not publish this information yet. Perhaps this explains the harsh tone of Aliyev in his communication with Vladimir Putin. But not only this. Aliyev is an intelligent and experienced leader. And now he wants Russia to name and punish the culprits. Vladimir Vladimirovich did not make it clear that the culprits will be punished, offering to help with the investigation.
In general, there are still too many threads leading to Kadyrov, which makes him nervous, not just him. If someone wants to punish him using their own methods, this will lead not only to a bloodbath in the Caucasus, but also to the need for a quick transfer of power over Chechnya (in the event of Kadyrov’s death). Our interlocutors hope that it will be possible to reach an agreement with Azerbaijan. In particular, through some concessions on the Caucasus, but the hawks in Putin's entourage believe that Aliyev is already allowing himself too much. But, what is significant, not one of them has stood up for Kadyrov.

“It's time to stop Erdogan.” He sent a new ultimatum on Crimea and mocks our air defense
The bad expectations we wrote about are becoming reality. After the rude attacks of Azerbaijani President Aliyev against Russia, his ally Erdogan decided to take advantage of the unpleasant situation for our country. “We received a new ultimatum from Turkey. Erdogan reminds us of his desire to take control of Crimea. And he has become so brazen that he asks: if the Russian air defense “confuses passenger planes with drones,” then how will it protect Crimea and Sevastopol from Western missiles fired by the Kiev regime? He is openly mocking us, the bastard, and is clearly preparing some new attack on the peninsula,” a source in the Foreign Ministry told us. According to him, we are preparing a tough and uncompromising response to this ultimatum.
The interlocutor in the Kremlin confirmed the fact of receiving a new ultimatum from Ankara. And he believes that the time has come to act seriously. “It's time to stop Erdogan. We already made a mistake once, when we didn't respond to his lawlessness in Syria, to be honest, resources were needed on another front. But now we will accumulate resources. And we will do something that will make our still Turkish partner forget about Crimea forever,” the source promised. He, of course, refused to disclose details. He promised that “everything will be done in January, or February at the latest.”

How untimely!
Sources in Moscow's ruling circles unanimously say that the incident with the Azerbaijan Airlines plane happened at the worst possible time.
“There is a difficult negotiation process with the US on Ukraine (and elsewhere) going on right now. Erdogan has messed up in Syria. And now there are such problems with Azerbaijan,” a source close to the head of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino told us. One of the hawks directly pointed out that Ramzan Kadyrov is to blame for the downed plane: “Even though he didn't press the button, we understand who has been pressuring the military all this time.” The interlocutors separately noted the president's gloomy mood because of the downed plane. “He was essentially reprimanded like a schoolboy. Kadyrov also called Aliyev without warning - no one does that. They say that after this Erdogan put a stop to any negotiations between the new Syrian government and Kadyrov. If our bases in Syria have to be removed , it will be a heavy blow,” another source said.
At the same time, the interlocutors agree that Vladimir Putin has no opportunity to punish Kadyrov by removing him from office. At the same time, the interlocutors call the attempts of the head of Chechnya to fill a negative agenda for himself with threats to equate cryptocurrency miners with terrorists a mistake.
The rise in the dollar exchange rate is connected with the pre-New Year rush, said the head of the State Duma Committee on Financial Markets Anatoly Aksakov to the publication Pod’em . “The pre-New Year situation, when people make very large purchases, accordingly a large volume of Russian rubles enters the market, the exchange rate falls. The main reason is still the pre-New Year rush,” he believes. In his opinion, the weakening of the Russian currency is also affected by Europe’s possible refusal to buy oil from Russia.
Let us recall that the Central Bank of the Russian Federation set the official exchange rate of the US dollar to the ruble from December 29, 2024 to January 9, 2025 at 101.6797 rubles, the euro - 106.1028 rubles, the yuan - 13.4272 rubles.

Gaynutdin’s words more than almost anything else so far highlight just how large these losses have been and how concerned the leaders of that community are about those deaths even if they continue to speak out in favor of Putin's policies. This new call for polygamy puts the Kremlin in a difficult position, one in which it will face opposition regardless of what it does.

(Note that Libyan PM Dbeibeh represents the Government in Tripoli, but the rebels controlling the East (BenGhazi), led by Khalifa Haftar, could cut their own deal. Haftar was huddling with the Chief of Egyptian Intelligence today. The PM in Triploi alluded to that possibility, saying “Any party that enters Libya without permission or agreement will be fought”)

Getting ready to shut off another major Russian natural gas pipeline (Druzhba) to Europe in about 36 hours - after over half a century of operation.
Kyiv Independent reports:
“Ukraine will increase gas transit tariffs for its domestic customers fourfold starting Jan. 1 when a deal to transport Russian gas through Ukrainian pipes expires... Russia has been paying Ukraine transport fees to carry its gas...
...the director of Ukraine’s gas transit operator GTS Operator, Dmytro Lyppa, said that the Russian deal previously covered 85% of the operator’s income from gas transit... the tariff hike would not cover the full loss of income from the deal’s expiry, and that the company was taking all possible measures to reduce its costs...
...Last week, Slovakia threatened to cut electricity supplies to Ukraine if Ukraine goes through with its promise to halt Russian gas transit.”
(Today, the EU and Poland said that they could make up for any cutoff of electricity from Slovakia - so Fico could both pay more for Slovakia’s gas and make less for its electricity, if he so chooses)

I see in other threads here on FR the pro-Russia crowd is savaging Trump’s peace plan, while praising “statesmen” Putin and Lavrov. It’s clear many of these folks are more pro-Russia than MAGA.
