The mayor of Kansas City is furious after the Missouri governor called the gunmen who opened fire at the Super Bowl celebration thugs.
Missouri Gov. Mike Parson told a radio station, “We can’t let some thugs just take over and ruin what happened.”
One person was killed and 22 were injured when two juveniles opened fire on the crowd. To date, the suspects have not been identified. So, technically, they are murderous thugs.

When you fire machine pistols indiscriminately into massive crowds, I think TERRORISTS would be a good word. The kind you simply shoot on the scene, like that police chief did to the guy at the Tet Offensive in Vietnam.

So the mayor doesn't want to call these sub-humans "thugs" and thinks it is "troubling" that a mother of two children was killed.
I find it troubling that ignorant people who have never owned a dictionary want to imagine what words mean and force others to believe those definitions.
Call them what they call one another. Done.

man..ive never seen a story disappear so fast in my life...and im used to the media doing this stuff with these shootings. That day, CNN and MSNBC were wall to wall, just salivating and hoping the shooters was white andhad a AR-15. But again, this story went down the rabbit hole fast...they really think they are fooling people.

Why? Thugs are thugs. So yet one more thing we cannot call by its true name.
