So the theory is that the Demonicrats will offer two total dingbats - Big Mike and Kamalamadingdong - on their presidential ticket.

I think I just had a little spitup in my mouth.

“Read the Constitution. First comes Kamala. Then the Speaker of the House. There is no Mikey Obama in the transfer of power.”

Actually they are right. If Kamala becomes president to replace Biden she then appoints a vice president of her own choosing.

I once argued the same point you are and had to be set straight.

It’d just be Obama’s fourth term. Michelle’s only ability is to look daggers at those she despises intensely (Trumps Inauguration First Term). Could she how much she literally hated Melania.

That would be a powerful and winnable ticket, but the Dems are too trapped by their own progressive catechisms to go for it.

But the Speaker does have the duty to act as VP in an emergency until a new VP is sworn in.

Biden will give all his delegates to Harris at the Democrat Convention. She will be the D candidate. Nothing else will suffice Replace her and the black women will show you who’s in charge.

Joe may not live that long.

I'm wondering is he just doesn't *die* from some unknown (unacknowledged) condition?

That could generate a LOT of sympathy for him and the democrats and make ANYTHING the Republicans respond with be open to the charge of not caring and being cruel and callous in such a time of great *tragedy*.

If biden lives that long, watch carefully who his running mate is because as I see it, he’s not leaving the White House under his own power.

If Biden chooses to give up his delegates they are gone—free to do what they wish.

At that point his recommendation (if he makes one) is not totally irrelevant but it can easily be defeated by a determined candidate with strong delegate support.

This could lead to a wild convention—perhaps the old fashioned kind with fifty ballots and smoke filled room horse trading.

Imho Kamala is not a strong enough personality to override ambitious rivals.

In the middle of the Senate vote on conviction and removal from office, Democrats, claiming they want no part of this purely political witch hunt so close to an election — a narrative that will be supported by a compliant MSM—collectively storm out of the chamber. All that’s needed for removal from office is two thirds of those senators present, and the stunned Republicans succeed in removing Joe Biden from office, doing the Democrats’ dirty work for them and, as a bonus, sparing individual Democrats from Dr. Jill’s ire.

The only way this scenario works is if the three Independent Senators who caucus with the Democrats remain in the chamber.

The Constitution requires a quorum of a majority of Senators to be present to conduct business, meaning 51 Senators. This just happens to be the Democrat majority right now when including the caucusing Independents.

If all 51 Democrat-aligned Senators leave the chamber, there will be no quorum to continue the stated impeachment trial. Will the Independents stay in the chamber to vote NO or will they continue to caucus with the Democrats and leave?

And what's the stop the remaining Republican Senators to vote NO also and keep Biden on the ticket in November?

The first idea has merit. I stopped reading halfway through the second, too silly. Democrats are not going to allow a Dem president to be impeached when there are multiple easier ways to move him out and make him a sympathetic figure while even gaining votes from some of those “moderate” peeps.

The new media wisdom will be: “Just imagine what the Democrats can get done with new energetic faces at the forefront.”

“It’d just be Obama’s fourth term.”

Exactly. The people who bought and paid for the Obamas long ago will call the bill due. Barack already on board of course.

Lurleen Wallace Obama for the win! Full circle completed.

Actually they are right. If Kamala becomes president to replace Biden she then appoints a vice president of her own choosing.

This is wrong.

She gets to appoint nominate a vice president of her own choosing.

It still takes a majority vote of both chambers of Congress to confirm the new Vice President.

I would think the Republican House would stall the vote to keep the VP slot vacant. This has two benefits: 1) it takes away the tie-breaking vote in the Senate, and 2) it puts the Speaker next in line if something should happen to Harris.

They had better replace Kamala first before it’s too late. I’m sure they can dig up some dirt on her.

I stand corrected. I knew that but my premise was the Neocons of both the house and the Senate will go right along with her nomination making it basically an appointment. They are not going to hold up spending money, it goes against their greed and addiction of spending our money.
