The problem for Biden is that Trump truly was justified in his use of force and there was a clear end state (destroy ISIS/ISIL). But for Biden? The use of force isn't always wrong. You need to have a just cause, do it the right way, and have a defined goal and end state. Post Cold War and especially post 9-11 we have lost all of that. What started out as a GWOT has morphed into a permanent political and economic interest based military endeavor. We today find ourselves in endless expeditionary and expansionist campaigns, using very dubious methods, and for economic and/or political interests.
