So the Texas National Guard seems to have locked this area down and said okay this is now ours, of course. Border Patrol says yo you can't do this now, obviously. Border Patrol right, they they seem to have said, "Hey listen we're not going to fight the Texas National Guard this is for the courts to decide", and so the overall showdown is between literally between the Texas National Guard, who's currently occupying and has actually put up constantina wire to block border patrol from entering this park and Border Patrol who says, "Hey listen we are empowered to enforce Federal immigration laws and you as the Texas National Guard don't have the right to do that"...

This guy presents a federalist interpretation of events at the border, i.e., that the issue is immigration rather than an invasion by drug dealers, human traffickers, and military age men. This guy does a good job with the war in Ukraine, but his political views are off the wall. The Texas NG is on the border exactly because the feds are not enforcing immigration law, and what results is an invasion of lawless aliens.

His analysis of the Ukraine war is founded upon his experience as a combat veteran in Iraq. His analysis of the border crisis is founded upon the view that the federal government controls immigration, which appears no where in the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution grants the federal government the power of naturalization, and the courts infer that means the power to set immigration policy. In this case, the Bidet Regime is ignoring immigration law by executive fiat. This guy lost the plot and opens himself up to being a dumb ass military guy who just follows orders.
