When he does come back to Florida he will be looked upon like a husband that tried to have an affair that didn’t work and now wants his wife back and thinks all is well.

Ron, just like Trump did when elected, is the perfect example of listening to the wrong people for the wrong reasons. They both knew what the right things to do were, but were persuaded not to do them by those with antithetical agendas.

Florida needs another Deep State governor like it needs a natural disaster.

Plan B" for me is going silent and surviving the civil war that would be coming in the aftermath.

It' by the grace of God to survive.

No, I think he’ll endorse Trump. It’s the smart thing to do ... and it will initiate his long journey to restore his former strong standing with the GOP conservative base.

“ The sooner DeSantis suspends his campaign, the stronger his political future becomes”

This is so true. Ron would have been so much better off burnishing his standing by sitting this one out, biding his time, and positioning himself for a brokered convention if needed. Instead, he stupidly allowed himself to be a useful idiot of the establishment (along with Nikki and The Lump)to attack Trump and sabotage his candidacy.

It [would be] by the grace of God to survive.

How very true!

Huh?

I think conservatives should not be having petty fights among themselves. I'd be happy voting for any of Trump, DeSantis, or Ramaswamy against Biden.

Ronald Reagan, with his 11th Commandment, knew how to win elections. Why are we saying bad things about other conservatives, giving the Democrats future ammunition against us?

The candidates should be running against the Democrats, not against each other. Debating policy differences is fine, of course, but petty personal ad hominems just make us look weak, dumb, and "swampy".

You never know what the future will bring:
• Trump may end up not running (due to health or something else, you never know), and we need a viable fallback position — probably either DeSantis or Ramaswamy (not Haley please).

• Trump may get nominated but may find it hard to galvanize the troops because of the circular firing-squad stuff we've been engaged in.

• Trump may win, and we'll need good people to be waiting in the wings for 2028 who we haven't already chopped down.
