I have zero problem with my standard mechanical key locks.
America has sure changed in the last 50 years.
This electronic bullsh!t is supposed to be "better", and it turns out to be more inconvenient than a mechanical key.
I absolutely hate my push to start car. Didn’t want it when I bought it and 9 years later still think it’s the dumbest most pointless feature ever
The GM passcode 3 was the best. A traditional mechanical key with RFID besides. Finding a way to get by both would be extremely technical and time consuming. There really was no problem with thieves stealing those cars. Key-less should be illegal. OH, and it didn’t cost 600 dollars to replace a key.
The other day in Boston 4 teens stole
a Kia Stinger. Two of them will not
be down for breakfast. Crashed in wee hours.
North Korea and China feeding the car thieves the tools to hurt South Korea.
When old becomes new again who knew.
It surprises me how many Indian Scout owners are spending the money to convert their bikes to keyless/key FOB. Not me.
A friend who owns an Indian bagger had starting issues for months and his bike in the shop repeatedly and the final result? Some eff up with the antenna communicating with the key fob.
I like my simple, indestructible key. How darn difficult is to insert a key in a slot???

I bought a 2018 car with low.mieage last year. And it starts and locks with a key. I want my vehicles, appliances and home as dumb as a stone.
My vehicles are protected by Third Petal Security.
You can leave the car unlocked with the keys in the ignition
Just start shooting these people.
I only have one vehicle with a remote start, my Caddy CTS-V and it lives in the hangar with my planes, very secure!
I just bought my first used car at a higher end used car dealership. One of the owners helped me and showed me some videos of one of their autos being stolen.
The thieves broke into a Dodge with the Hellcat engine and in less than 20 seconds were gone. They wrecked that car up near DC in Fairfax County. Injured an older man as they hit him head on. There was security video showing them getting out of the wrecked Dodge, breaking into a parked Dodge RT and taking off in less than 15 seconds.
