This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Wonder what the total price tag was for putins fury, reminds me a bit of Speer complaining that Hitler had just wasted 6 months of production
And yet putinistas will still claim “restraint” and Donbas Donbas Donbas…
I see your point, but I also still see drones flying and doing damage.
Regardless I would assume that plays to both sides, and I would imagine tech advances are being worked on like Ukrainian version of shahid drones (something I have wondered about for some time)
Will be curious to see how the numbers play out over the winter
The drone flying would be gas powered, perhaps some battery powered ones, depending on daily and regional temperatures, can still fly, but later that will be impossible until Spring.
$1.2 billion cost of the missiles.

The Ministry of Defense and the General Staff are furious with the results of the missile strike on Ukraine: “They thought they had destroyed the F-16 and Patriot.” And Sobyanin called Shoigu and shouted
This morning we could not help but admire the results of the massive missile strike by our military on the territory of Ukraine. And they called their friends at the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense to congratulate them on their successful work. The military has disappointed us and, frankly, is now furious.
It turns out that a significant part of the attacks were unsuccessful. For example, this was the shelling of the Mirgorod airfield.
“We spotted and destroyed six F-16s there. According to intelligence data, these turned out to be dummies. And now we don’t know whether the enemy even has such planes, or whether we were misled. And the missiles have been spent, including rare missiles,” admitted the interlocutor at the Ministry of Defense.
Models of Patriot air defense systems in Kyiv were also destroyed. “We hit them, burned them, and decided that they were real Patriots. And they launched a new wave of missiles at Kyiv, which, in our opinion, was left unprotected.
“But it turned out that we didn’t destroy anything, and our missiles were shot down. As a result, almost 30 missiles were wasted. I don’t understand why our intelligence works this way,” complained a source in the General Staff.
According to the interlocutors, a number of military facilities in Ukraine were hit, but the effect of such a massive shelling “is much less than we would like.”
Plus, the enemy received an important advantage - after the footage of burning civilian buildings, Ukraine will definitely receive new Western weapons, and a lot of them. Most likely more than expected.
Sergei Sobyanin is also dissatisfied with the shelling of Ukraine, including Kyiv. “Sergei Semenovich called Shoigu. There was a difficult conversation with frequent shouting,” a source close to the Moscow mayor admitted to us.
Sobyanin fears that the response to attacks on Ukraine may be shelling of Moscow, which is possible, including on the New Year. And he doubts that the capital’s air defense, with all its power, will withstand massive attacks.
It’s worth noting: the mayor knows what he’s talking about. In November, he was already worried that after the strike on Kyiv there would be an enemy response to Moscow.
That sad forecast of Sergei Semenovich came true: the capital was then struck by drones, as a result of which the city was almost left without electricity .
We will definitely be asked: why publish such information? It’s simple. We are journalists and must speak honestly about the situation in our army. Both about her successes and failures. Moreover, we were asked to publish this post by those same acquaintances in the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff. To draw attention to the systemic problems that exist in the army.

The Russian Armed Forces were preparing to launch Caliber that night, but alas
Last night and morning, Russia carried out perhaps the most massive attack on Ukraine since the start of the Northeast Military District. about the first results of the strike We reported earlier - alas, not all the intended targets were destroyed, and some of the missiles even flew into dummies. Unfortunately.
Sources in the General Staff say that Kalibr missiles were also being prepared for launch that night, but some of them were lost during transportation due to the defeat of our Novocherkassk landing ship. We wrote about this here.
At the same time, the military no longer gives a clear answer - whether the Ukrainian Armed Forces have those very F-16 aircraft that have been talked about so much lately, or not. Night strikes, alas, destroyed the dummies, but not the planes.
Hope they can figure something out FPD have been clutch
Out of a 1.8 trillion gdp, ya know grew at 3.5%

Big story for today...if true.
There is information that the 🇺🇦 Ukrainian military has just shot down a 🇷🇺 Russian Tu-22M3 long-range strategic bomber over the Kursk region.

This link shows Kursk on Google Maps
Well within reach of a Patriot missile.
At this point, it's impossible to know why ruzzia would have to fly a Tu-22M3 this close to Ukraine.
My guess is initial "information" is based on intercepted radio transmissions.
Confirmation will be based on commercial satellite photos, which might take a couple of days.
marcusmaximus...please ping me with any updates.

I wonder what the final count will be.
Still no confirmation on the Tu-22 shootdown. I’m not so sure it happened since it would have been confirmed by the Russian war bloggers by now.
And remember, over 40 million Russians don't even have running water in their homes or indoor toilets, yet Putin's spent hundreds of millions attacking Ukraine today.

...over 40 million Russians don't even have running water in their homes or indoor toilets...
Me either.
There is no reason that ruzzia would ever fly a bomber aircraft this close to Ukraine.

NASAMs fire off-the-shelf Aim-120 missiles.
The UK have over 2000 Aim-120A/B missiles sitting on a shelf which are not part of their WRM.
Hopefully, some of these missiles are enroute to Ukraine.
This might be the origin or the rumor:

Ukrainian TV never ceases to amaze, this time they shot down a Tu-22M3 with a Bayraktar. The man’s face in the frame reacting to the journalist’s words speaks for itself. (in Russian)
