However, you further say in #13:

I think it is highly unlikely, even as obnoxious and perhaps disloyal as their behavior appears, that the law (in the context we discuss here) will ever touch them, even with a R admin.
However, it was a pre-coffee moment for me and I wasn't ready to respond to your post.
