Houston and Austin are #2 and #6 in national growth. They can’t build apartments fast enough to keep up so prices have skyrocketed on current housing. There is no way this company is in the red unless they are that stupid or are cooking the books for some reason. Which owner is getting a divorce and the spouse’s lawyer is demanding half?

The pandemic accelerated the state’s appetite for, and public’s acquiescence to lawless regulation.
That said, the ingenuity of the American businessperson is boundless. All in good time.

You know, I always hear stories like that, and I believe them, but the fact is that Section 8 housing complexes in my area do not have exceptionally high crime. There is some of that but not much more than non- Section 8 developments. What is the difference? Well it is a confounding variable — race of the tenants. We have almost none of a particular troublesome tribe.
In Texas you must honor the lease, for apts here leases are 12 months.
