A clean DOJ would not operate on the basis of political favoritism. A large part of the DOJ is in need of cleansing by prosecution, if not execution.
The reason this was done is so that on Monday (ala Wray and Garland) Hunter can appear before the cmt and say the infamous words “because I have been indicted and there is NOW an ongoing investigation, I cannot speak to any of the issues regarding any of the things you want to discuss”. Huh? What ya wanna bet?

This indictment is nothing but a ploy to allow Hunter Biden to decline to answer congressional subpoenas and other investigation attempts into Biden family corruption.

And..Joe Biden is down for the count. The Hunter indictment doesn’t really implicate Joe, but Joe is so obviously corrupt and entangled with Hunter, that this is another nail in Joe’s coffin.
Joe’s approval rating is down to 37%, a horrendous number, and that is before the Hunter indictment. The bad news is that if Joe drops out of the race for President, literally any Democrat will be a stronger candidate.
