The reason this was done is so that on Monday (ala Wray and Garland) Hunter can appear before the cmt and say the infamous words “because I have been indicted and there is NOW an ongoing investigation, I cannot speak to any of the issues regarding any of the things you want to discuss”. Huh? What ya wanna bet?
Timing is everything
Yep, and this deal was put together long before Hunter’s committee appearance was annuonced. The Reps got rolled. Again.
