Fox News host Greg Gutfeld slammed his own network while defending Tucker Carlson in a moment that left the studio audience stunned. Gutfeld also seemed to imply that Fox News is part of the "censorship industrial complex."
Gutfeld praised Musk for refusing to bend the knee to the cancel culture campaign targeting his X social media platform and defending free speech. Gutfeld lauded Musk for telling off "cowardly advertisers" who caved to pressure from progressive activists, and said Musk standing for what he believes is "how it's done."
"The fact is, Musk may be the last man standing between real freedom of speech and the suffocating block of this censorship industrial complex, which is made up of government, media, and tech forces," Gutfeld said in a possible veiled shot at his employer – Fox News.

Fox needs a contrarian like him. Hope he’s got more clout with the Murdochs than Tucker did. He may get away with it — as long as he doesn’t do it often.

Fox News is the prototypical corporation founded by a gifted, entrepreneur and visionary. Then it is ultimately turned over to incompetent sons and family who ultimately destroy it. Greg and Tucker ought to start their own network.
I was watching when he said that. There was silence from the audience and guests.
Fox has a history of dumping it’s top ratings leaders Oreilly, Carlson. Now Gutfeld is number 1 late night even over the traditional networks. So it’s his time for the network to send him packing and replace him with an AI robot.
I knew I liked him, and it was kind of obvious he wasn’t an on-board lemming with them. Kudos!
John Nolte loves AI. I’ve never seen him make any negative comments about it.
Well this is certainly good news, it give Faux the chance to finally stand up or Self Castrate the Corporation again.

You could've said the same thing about Tucker Carlson. He was their biggest cash cow and star attraction. He was uncermoniously and rudely fired right before airing time.
Come on people. He didn’t slam his employer. He did put it out there for us to put 2 and 2 together and it wasn’t hard. Provocative.
I do remember race baiter Dr. Harry Edwards ‘would’ accuse parents of child abuse for sending their kids to UC-his employer. When questioned his answer was “I’m not a slave to the university”. UC didn’t respond. They were too scared of him.
If Carlson cost the network a billion his network would be justified in his firing.
I watch his clips on YouTube. Only Gutfeld. I was impressed, not stunned.
He’s great that way. Gets digs into Fox News now and then.
