This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

The United States of America (USA) is postponing to next year the transfer to Ukraine of the first large batch of small-diameter ground-based rocket bombs (GLSDB), adapted for striking at a range of about 160 km.

According to reports from Pentagon representatives and people familiar with the matter, such weapons may be transferred to Ukraine as part of defense assistance in the first half of 2024.

"People familiar with the current timelines say delivery to the US by Boeing, GLSDB's general contractor, will take place at the end of December, followed by several months of testing before shipping to Ukraine," the publication said.

I guess this is a way to develop a new weapon for our military using Ukraine aid funding. That probably means (or at least Boeing/DoD hope) it will become a “Program of Record” and be produced in very large numbers for the US Army and Marines. Lot’s of potential, with the SDB-I, then the SDB-II (Stormbreaker) adds Link-16 and semi autonomous search and terminal guidance, or simple laser designation. Apparently Saab has already demonstrated GLSDB with SDB-II. Eventually, the larger rocket motor of the GMLRS-ER could extend the GLSDB beyond 200km.

The ground pounders sure are getting a lot of new toys, and this will just add more. It will make them a little less dependent on air power, especially in the absence of air dominance. A Marine HIMARS Battery (6 launchers) could deliver more SDBs than a 4-flight of F-16s, out to 150 km, then reload and do it again within 10 minutes, assuming reload pods on station.
