Freeper since pre- 2000. Get a copy of Alan Carr's "Easy Way to Control Alcohol". It's really good, and not what you might expect. Also consider "accountability" with a close friend. This is where when you slip up, you pay. It's surprising how well a monetary incentive can work. With accountability I was able to FINALLY stop smoking many years ago.

And as others have said, it is a spiritual battle also, always keep that in mind and be a wise warrior with prayer and humility. You can do it. PM me your address if you need me to send you a copy of that book :)

Yep: I learned much from Carr as well. AA, too. Excellent tools in my toolbox. And I know I am only a drink away from trouble!
