Palestinian officials have banned Christmas decorations in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, and will not allow trees or lights to be displayed over the holiday.
Officials stated:
“Bethlehem Municipality crews [are] dismantling of Christmas decorations installed several years ago in the city’s neighborhoods and removing all festive appearances in honor of the martyrs and in solidarity with our people in Gaza.”
A spokesman for the municipality explained to the British press:
“The reason is the general situation in Palestine; people are not really into any celebration, they are sad, angry and upset; our people in Gaza are being massacred and killed in cold blood.”

They certainly weren't sad, angry, or upset when they massacred Israelis in cold blood.
And it goes without saying that Israel does NOT massacre civilians or innocents in cold blood. Enemy combatants will die in a war they started. Too bad.
But that is NOT a *massacre* or in cold blood.

Bethlehem is in PA controlled territory. Both Bethlehem and Nazareth have a number of Christians and are noted for Christmas celebrations. Videos of past parades and celebrations are very entertaining, and even religious Jews can be seen enjoying the festivities.
The Tomb of Rachael (wife of Patriarch Jacob) is next to Bethlehem, but is protected by walls from hostile Muslims.
When they massacred the civilians in Israel, they signed the death warrants for many of their citizens who would be killed. So sad and just plain stupid.
Not just about Jews. Christians too, and ultimately all infidels. Even globalists.
It is. When traveling there you have to exit your tour vehicle on the Israeli side, walk through and get up into a different vehicle.
Yep...had to Google map it to see. I didn’t realize that either. Even Jerusalem is wrapped, on three sides, along the border of West Bank. Bethlehem is south of Jerusalem...and inside WB.
Well, that’s a diverse, equitable, inclusive action to take.
