Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis asked a judge on Friday to schedule the trial in the case against Donald Trump in Georgia for Aug. 5, which would temporarily sideline the former president and leading GOP presidential candidate from the campaign trail at the height of election season.
Willis, who is prosecuting Trump and 18 co-defendants over allegations they illegally conspired to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia, said in a court filing that her requested trial date "balances potential delays from other pending criminal trials with the Defendants’ speedy trial rights."

The whole thing is utterly insane, helped him win HOW? Did they beam brain waves from a satellite in outer space that got into peoples heads forcing them to vote for Trump? Did they pay everybody to vote for Trump? It’s pure insanity. Meanwhile we have evidence Democrats changed election laws, chased monitors out of polling places, videos of mules dumping ballots into ballot boxes, oh THAT is all OK, but Russia collusion gets a 3 year investigation
My best guess would be that Russian hackers attacked the Democrat’s voting machine access and caused only actual votes to be cast and interfered with their ability to adjust the numbers to whatever they wanted.
