Biden can run if he wants, but I think the plan for Biden and the eventual nominee is already in place and I still say Biden won’t run and the back-room pick is whoever Obama wants and that’s Michelle. I pay no attention to the “she doesn’t want it” because she will just be a do-nothing plant like Biden, what I see now is Obama’s third term is ending and he wants 4 and 5 next. Dem insiders don’t want to try the amount of cheating it would take to reelect Biden and he’s too far gone mentally to last very long anyway.

I think Joe can probably make it to the convention, but if a sudden health crisis makes him drop out on the eve of the convention, the Democrats will have to scramble and get a viable candidate within 24-48 hrs. Who could it be? Possibly Newsome. Possibly Hillary. But I think Michelle is the obvious favorite. Barack can make a stirring speech, Michelle can stand up and wave, and it’s a done deal.
