Once upon a time, if an American wanted to get a PhD in science from a great university, he or she was required to learn German and French. My French was never very good, but I passed the language exam. And I learned to speak German fluently—taught by a native speaker who survived WWII.

Nowadays, even science PhDs in the USA are usually monolingual. They’re not as bad off as people who only speak a tribal language, but they are missing something. And if they are taught and accept “DEI”, they are bad off indeed!!

That is so off-the-hook I am surprised the author doesn't 'get it'. Someone at this University appraised the DEI offerings and picked the most obtuse one precisely so the students could mostly ignore it (they would have anyway, but this one is senseless).

In other words, there's no "there" there. This dope should be writing about 5th-graders made to renounce their 'whiteness', and exposing school districts who are still punishing elementary "pubrik skrewel" (Rush's term) systems with this nonsense.

I had to do this every so often when mine were in college—explain what the teacher wanted and then explain the historically accurate facts—and that was 20 years ago.
