The biden administration routinely ignore laws and supreme court rulings that don’t move their agenda forward.
If they break the law to get a green card, they are still illegal.
No, by definition a green card is an indication that you are here legally, and it's only for legal permanent residents of the United States.
Some illegals can obtain permission to be lawfully in the US for some period of time, for example Biden just gave one group of Venezuelan immigration what's called "Temporary Protected Status" - but TPS is not a green card and it does not confer a path to citizenship.
I don't think that's true. Source?
An older British lady, Pam B., now deceased, was a friend of my family. She would tell of going back to visit friends in Britain who wanted to emigrate and being asked how she got a US green card. Having married an American overseas and then resettling in the US many years before, she would proudly reply -- in an undiluted British accent -- "I do not have a green card! I am an American citizen!"
Yes, I thought that you were asking if our government gave them a green card. I think they have to go through their hearing first.
It will be a while before I can source it, but when I worked the Census we would differentiate between citizens and non-citizens.
Not anymore…
Thank you!
You obviously don’t understand what a Green Card is. Start there and your question answers itself.
