I would suspect this was part of the plan from the beginning.

When RFK starts getting prime time interviews on all the liberal media channels I might believe this

I have a hard time believing this.
MAGA people don’t seem like Kennedy people.

Not buying it. Anytime you hear the name Kennedy you associate it with Democrat. People voting for Kennedy were not going to vote for Trump in the first place.

I wish I would have posted that same comment down the page.
Indeed, some of the fair weather Reps that dont want to vote for that god awful felon Trump might run to Kennedy.
No way, He’s a Dem and a Kennedy, why would any decent Rep vote for that creature?

Could be, but he’s going to take a LOT MORE of Trump votes if the NeverTrumpers are successful in removing Trump from the ballot, as I simply cannot see Trump voters going for Chris Christie or Nikki Haley, especially considering how much those two (and the other candidates) HATE Trump voters.

I certainly hope not. Kennedy does not seem to be that kind of person to collude with Marxists. Am I missing something?
To: Wilderness Conservative
Unfortunately not surprising.

MAGA people don’t seem like Kennedy people. I know several bat*** crazy dems who of course hate Trump, but have always loved the Kennedy family.
I believe their minds are now in the process of changing to declare RFK Jr. a traitor and heretic.

I think that's the more likely scenario.

MAGA people don’t seem like Kennedy people.MAGA voters tend to be against Trump's clot shot, something Trump hasn't figured out yet while RFK Jr. has.

Trump voters are already voting for Trump
NeoCons aren’t going to vote for RFK since he’s even more anti-war than than Trump
Dem voters still have a decent amount of anti-war and anti vax hippie types despite the parties current platform.
I suppose some independents might have gone with Trump because of the disaster of the Biden years because of the economy, but will they think RFK’s economic platform is a better deal ?

Kennedy will not take conservative votes from Trump, but he will get cross over Democrat votes that would have otherwise went to Trump.
We are seeing a major re alignment in American politics and anything that interferes with displaced working class and normal Democrat voters is going to hurt Trump in a significant way. We need Kennedy to attract displaced Democrats to make up for the margin of fraud the Democrats have baked into the election but we need to do it in a way that does not reduce Trump votes. Hence a Trump / Kennedy ticket that could be unbeatable.
