I think the frame and body were separated at that point.
Yep, with the 390, 4 speed manual and tripower.
It was an easy choice.
My brother had the misfortune to marry two such women.
Wondering if there was a title involved with the transfer? Doesn’t sound like it but if she forged his signature that’s an addition to the charges of theft.
I understand what you’re talking about. I ain’t one of them. 🤣😂
Men generally are not known for thinking with the brain in their skulls when it comes to women.
Men and women both need to step back and not let hormones/emotions dictate relationships.
“The scrapyard has to purchase the vehicle with transfer of title. I’m guessing the scrapyard purchased the Impala but recognizing the value, saved it from the shredder.
If it is a case of theft, the boyfriend should be able to get his car back.”
Exactly. I think most if not all of this story is made up. As soon as the guy got home and saw his car was gone he would have insisted she tell him where she took the car and parts. Unless they immediately crushed the car (unlikely) he would have told them it was stolen and got it back.
What a beeyotch! I hope the guy wins that lawsuit, but he’ll still never get the labor-of-love hours and experience back that she stole from him.
What a nasty, evil, selfish thing for her to do. At least the guy found out what she was really like before he married her or had kids with her.
A 2.5 acre car garage, or is it a 2.5 car garage? If it was a 2.5 acre garage, the property tax would be crazy...
“A netizen recently asked, “Am I a jerk for suing my girlfriend after she had my 1967 Impala project taken to the scrapyard?”. We need you to find out!”
I forgot to mention, that another reason the story is fake is because if it were true, no man would need to ask if he was in the wrong for suing her.
Relationships take the responsible behavior of TWO people. It is not just for the convenience of the guy.
Men likewise, need to keep in mind that for women, sex is also an emotional thing. It is tied very closely to emotions.
Understanding each other from both parties goes a long way.
Four doors are nice for cars that big. You don’t have to climb in and out of them into the back seat through a door that is not quite big enough for the job.
And those are from my teenage years when I was very flexible and limber.
Nice, concise summary of action needed to be taken.
“I am married to the same problem. Looking for a book one day? Thrown out.”
You’re a Saint, or at least a Martyr. I would not have stood for that even once. Not to mention all the other things.
Fifty years? I will avoid any quips about being out of jail by now...
Years ago I had a marriage go sour on me. Unbeknownst to me, she not only anticipated the split, she engineered it. She served me with divorce papers and restraining orders at the same time.
I was barred from my own home and property and had to hire an attorney to try to reclaim them. Anyone who has been through an acrimonious divorce knows the drill.
I had been a car builder by hobby and one day discovered that she had called a towing outfit about “some abandoned cars” on her (our) property. Among the vehicles of mine that she had removed were 2 1936 Chev 2-door sedans, a 1937 Chev pickup, and 2 parts cars. I was given no warning.
I found out which company had towed them and visited them in an effort to reclaim them. I was told that I could get them out of hock but it would be prohibitively expensive due to the thousands of dollars in towing and accrued storage fees. The salvage yard also would not allow me to be selective in which cars I redeemed - it was an all or nothing requirement.
On the appointed day I returned to the yard to witness the sale of my vehicles at auction. I was high bidder on the pickup truck and able to save it. The rest were sold and I never saw them again.
Sadly, there is a dearth of real men out there these days.
Relationships take the responsible behavior of TWO people.
That was the point of my post one has nothing to do with the other know it and understand it.
If the man’s name is Dean Winchester, being sued is the least of her problems!
Sellng a vehicle that is not
hers (especially one that has
a clear title) equals jail time.
I would think the scrap dealer
may be on the shady side also.
Authorities are very stringent
where I live, on used vehicles
being bought and sold.
I’d have her arrested, and report
the scrap dealer. Who knows?,
if the guy acts fast enough
with help from the state
police, he could get his car
back.
Surprisingly enough, most people don’t know what an AMX is
