Holy cow, look at that Kelley Blue Book price of an average new car, and this will just push it up and up and up...

Repair costs and insurance are going through the roof too.
I’ve never seen so many cars with moderate damage driving around, yet body shops are months out on getting to a repair job...

At least one classic Corvette will be taken very good care of.
The rest maybe not so much.

Biden is destroying America
There, fixed it

I was driving by the local dealer in town. Nearly every sticker was $50k plus for regular SUV cross over type vehicles. New trucks were in the $75k range.
BIdenomics is working!!!

We NEED low cost Indian, Vietnamese and Chinese cars to come in. Register as Motorcycles to get past safety and emissions. At that sub 5k price.
There needs to some some massive downward pressure to correct the car prices.

Went to local Furd dealer, intent to buy an expensive Mustang muscle car (Shelby) loaded with extras like convertible roof, stereo, etcetera.
ON TOP of the already-very-high asking price, the dealer had added a demand for an EXTRA $56,600. Just for hisself. For nothing he was offering or giving the customer.
So patently offensive and ridiculous, we just walked right out and he can shove his pony car up where the sun don’t shine. We will never, ever return. Not in a million years.

The woke Biden admin agenda is forcing auto manufacturers to go EV.
And “forcing” may be too strong a word. Auto execs seems to be all too happy to lose BILLIONS of dollars in building EV cars that people don’t want.

we know a 1996 Camry that was purchased used in year 2000 only as a quickly-available car in an emergency with no plans that it would last for more than 2 or 3 months.
it is still running perfectly like a sweet, well-oiled sewing machine, “the cheap little car that refuses to die!” is how its owner puts it
