A somewhat unexpected twist has emerged in the JFK assassination saga, which blows a hole in a critical government narrative surrounding his death.
On Saturday, 88-year-old Paul Landis gave an exclusive interview with The New York Times where he shared he shared his revelations regarding what happened November 22, 1963, in Dallas — the day JFK was allegedly assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald. Landis that year was a Secret Service agent assigned to First Lady Jackie Kennedy’s protective detail, as the Daily Mail notes.
Landis’s revelations regarding what happened 60 years ago lay waste to one critical claim by the Warren Commission and raises questions regarding whether there was a second shooter besides Oswald.
The narrative advanced by the Warren Commission is that one of the bullets fired at the president’s limousine struck not only Kennedy in the back but also Texas Governor John B. Connally Jr. in the back, chest, wrist, and thigh. Connally was riding next to Kennedy at the time.
This has been called the “magic bullet” theory to millions of skeptics because it seemingly defies the law of common sense and physics.
Landis told the Times that after Kennedy was shot, he was the one who retrieved the so-called “magic bullet” and explained the chaotic scene that gave him the opportunity.

DING! DING! DING!
I have been down there many times, as I am from the DFW area. JFK’s motorcade came to all but a complete stop when they were making a 90º turn from Houston onto Commerce Street. Any assassin, whose only want was to kill JFK, would have taken that shot - PERIOD! He had full body shots on JFK, Jackie, Gov. Connally, the driver...everyone inside that car could have been hit, easily!!
>> My main problem involves my lying eyes when I watch that head shot. My mind tells me that bullet came from the front. Instant acceleration at the same time as the head shot might explain the movements ... maybe. <<
What’s counter-intuitive is that you see the FRONT of Kennedy’s head appear to explode, so it’s easy to think he was shot from the front. But if you look at frame 313 of the Zapruder film, (https://www.schooltube.com/watch/zapruder-film-jfk-assassination-hd_lk8h5ryj0xzxo8.html ) you see the spray of brains from his head shoot forward, and THEN Kennedy’s head rock back, and the mist moves backwards relative to the car’s motion.
Watch any high-powered rifle’s bullet pierce any target; the big mess is always at the EXIT wound. Kennedy’s head was clearly shot from behind.
But also watch when he first clutches his throat, at frame 220. This is ONE HUNDRED frames before his head is blown away. The claims that marksmen couldn’t shoot and reload in almost 100 frames is just absurd. The conspiracy theory rests on the notion that JFK was not shot in frame 220, but instead I guess he has some urgent desire to straighten his bowtie or something.
>> Yet oddly, Oswald waited to fire until JFK’s car turned and sped-up, was moving away from him and only a head-shot was available. Why would he do that? <<
THAT is the false claim here. Kennedy was shot in Frame 225 of the Zapruder film. Conspiracy nuts pick for no good reason blurs 3, 4, and 5 on the Zapruder films to suppose when the shots took place. In reality, he was shot on blurs 1, 3, and 5, making the line-up perfect, and giving Oswald plenty of time to shoot.
I mentioned the article, but I have seen numerous accounts of the hit being ordered by LBJ who hated JFK. That the USSR would risk nuclear war if their plot was discovered didn’t hold water back then nor does it now.
KGB plot is a dead end, a red herring - look closer to home. Who hated Bush? Who hates DJT? Democrats Who hated JFK? Democrats.
Because of Central American drug cartels, there are plenty of videos on the dark corners of the internet showing cellphone recorded head shots, from all directions of entry. Not a single one shows a reflex towards the bullet. Victims mostly drop instantly like a sack of potatoes. If JFK's impact reflex is legit, it's very far from typical.
You are correct, Red. Once they were on their way, the backseat riders were JFK and Jackie. Middle seat row riders were John Connally and Nellie Connally. Front seat was occupied by the driver and ?. Nellie and Jackie were behind the driver in their respective rows. John and JFK same side behind passenger(?) on their respective rows. Surely this guy with The magic bullet knew that fact.
Amen.

The Bush clan!
Blame dictation software for “charitable person” in reference to Pedo Joe. Should be “terrible person.”
I used to be a JFK conspiracy theorist.
Then I read Gerald Posner’s “Case Closed” and Vincent Bugliosi’s “Reclaiming History.”
And that took care of that.
I agree with you 100% there.
Oswald waited?
Nope. Please read “Case Closed” by Posner and let me know what you think?

Sorry, my reading list is already many months long. Why don't you summarize it for everyone, instead of just throwing out random, unsupported comments?
Personally I think LBJ had him killed.
So the fact that this is the guy who retrieved the bullet means that he is an expert on who the bullet hit?
If the 60-year-old recollections of an 88 year old man changed your opinion on the assassination, you’re as addled as he is.
I understand, but there is no rush. When you get to it you will see, and if you are interested in the assassination this book is a must read. You raise a valid question, the answer to which is in this book which I did not write. My comment is sufficient for others to know where to find the answers.
I concur with karnage in post 91. Please read these books so that you can comment intelligently.
Let’s pretend its 9th grade.
Mr. Parrish - based on your reading, would you care to give the class a simple explanation of why you feel Oswald did not take a shot that was “late?”
