Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine
ORYX ^ | Since February 24, 2022 and daily | ORYX

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Calling someone a RuZZian on FR is considered an insult.
Calling someone a Comrade on FR is considered an insult.

Summarizing this war:

A tragedy for Ukraine.
A disaster for RuZZia.
A strategic win for the USA. The biggest winner of the war.

“More than three decades after Reagan left office, most Republicans still believe that America is a force for good.”

Hahahaha. Hohohoho.

7,600 weapons! RuZZia so STRONG. Indicted War Criminal Little Pukin such a strong, powerful leader. And Good Christian Man too.

“”The Armed Forces of Ukraine did not achieve their goals during the so-called counter-offensive in any of the directions,” Russian Defense Minister Shoigu said. “Since the start of the offensive, their losses have exceeded 66,000 people and 7,600 weapons,” he added.”

“The 68th Jager Brigade destroyed 5 tanks from the 8 enemy armored vehicles that tried to counterattack on Ukrainian positions. One of the tanks is a T-90, by the way, not the first on the account of the Javelin operators of the brigade. The American anti-tank complex once again demonstrates its combat capabilities.”

“China Slowdown Means It May Never Overtake US Economy, Forecast Shows”

“China is no longer set to eclipse the US as the world’s biggest economy soon, and it may never consistently pull ahead to claim the top spot as the nation’s confidence slump becomes more entrenched.

That’s according to Bloomberg Economics, which now forecasts it will take until the mid-2040s for China’s gross domestic product to exceed that of the US — and even then, it will happen by “only a small margin” before “falling back behind.” Before the pandemic, they expected China to take and hold pole position as early as the start of next decade.

Peak China.

“Mercedes CEO Changes Tune on China as ‘Economic Wonder’ Stalls”

“When Germany last convened its biennial car show, Ola Källenius couldn’t have sounded more bullish about China.

Mercedes-Benz Group AG had enjoyed a string of successful years in the country, the chief executive officer said, but the best was yet to come. “If we look at the GDP growth, if we look at how many buyers come into the segment that is relevant for Mercedes,” he said, “this in the next 10 years presents probably the biggest absolute growth opportunity for our company.”

Two years later, Källenius delivered a glum assessment of China’s prospects, telling Bloomberg Television ahead of this week’s Munich motor show that the luxury-car maker can’t count on the country for brisk expansion.”

Bloomberg answers six topical questions about a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

1.What does Russia want?
The most obvious goods from Pyongyang are artillery shells and missiles, which Moscow can use in Ukraine. The Kremlin’s fighting machine has exhausted its reserves, and Moscow is looking for sources of supply. North Korea could have millions of 122mm and 152mm artillery shells and 122mm rockets. Korea also has sufficient stocks of T-54 and T-62 tanks. North Korea can supply spare parts.

2. What does North Korea want?
Money, goods and technologies. North Korea’s economy is valued at about $24.5 billion. And small cash infusions become of great importance in the country. Kim might be interested in nuclear-powered submarines and spy satellites. But the state needs more oil, food, cars and hard currency to stabilize its rule and development. Any help would free up resources for his nuclear weapons program.

3. What connects them?
Russia has resumed oil supplies to North Korea for the first time since 2020. Also began to supply food, including sugar and flour. For months, the US has accused North Korea of sending hundreds of thousands of munitions to Russia, which Pyongyang denied. Cooperation intensified after the visit of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu to Pyongyang.

4. What can change?
North Korea is busy building short-range ballistic missiles that are similar to some that Russia is using in Ukraine. Kim can sell them for a big markup. Any transport of missiles can be quickly detected and a sale would be a serious violation of sanctions.

Sending North Korean troops to Ukraine will likely result in increased sanctions against both countries, further isolating them. Pyongyang can produce weapons on its own, but technology to reduce warheads, their modernization has significantly increased Korea’s ability to deliver a nuclear strike.

5. How will they do it?
Russia and North Korea have rail links. Russia and North Korea also share a common coastline to the east. The introduction of additional economic sanctions against the DPRK will not have a significant impact on it. But strengthening control over their observance will lead to higher costs. The US and allies may use multiple cards to increase pressure on Russia. For example, consider ways to further reduce oil revenues.

6. What’s left for China?
Attention could quickly shift to Beijing if Putin, after meeting with Kim, travels to China for the Belt and Road Forum in October. Putin’s visit will complicate the situation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is trying to cope with problems in the country’s economy.

China has been providing diplomatic support to Putin since the start of the special operation, but has recently been keen to present itself as a neutral player. The Biden administration has urged Beijing to rein in Kim and may urge Xi to do the same if he does meet with Putin.

“Ukrainian counter-battery warfare continues on the Zaporizhzhia front.

As a result of AFU artillery strikes, destroyed or damaged were at least one 2A65 Msta-B and one 2A36 Giatsint-B 152mm towed howitzer, one 2S19 Msta-S 152mm SPG, and one BM-21 Grad 122mm MRL.

The most notable was a strike on a BM-21 MRL, as it was conducted with an M30A1 GMLRS rocket (filled with over 180,000 tungsten elements for area effects) and resulted in spectacular ammunition detonation.”
