I get it with Pence or Crispy Crème, but DeSantis is a good guy, who happens to be a competitor.
And you know that because???? He signed some Bills that the Republicans in the Florida State Legislature sent him? Trump's life is an open book. The only thing I know about DeSantis is that he received his law degree from Harvard, was an attorney on the battlefield, advising our troops how not to offend our enemies, working as an attorney for the DOJ, being a member of the House of Representatives when Republicans held a majority there, barely getting elected Governor against a drug and prostitute user, asking the people of Florida to re-elect him because he'd finish a full term as their Governor, stabbing the people of Florida and Trump in the back by announcing his Presidential run less than six months after re-election, getting the State Legislature to change parts of The Sunshine Laws so his past and future travels, who he meets with, etc., are kept from public scrutiny, and getting the State's Resign to Run law changed so he would still get a paycheck while running for President, and have a job to go back to when he crashes and burns in the primaries. I'd have a hard time trusting any politician who uses their party's majority to get Bills passed that help them politically, and financially. I just don't like self-servicing politicians.
