What a waste of a support group when there probably are a fair amount of normal, grounded women who never particularly had hormonal issues with PMS or postpartum depression and then surprisingly find themselves feeling “wacky” at menopause.
I hope you find a better group.
Menopause can be weird for people. I’ve known women who actually went in the other direction— they and others around them reported they seemed to even out mood-wise and felt more sane and clear headed. Some reported never having had a hot flash.
I unfollowed them after 5 days. Every time something popped up on my newsfeed related to the group, it was doom & gloom and more drama than a Mexican telenovela at high noon.
