One early oddity I noticed was that the vehicle fuel door was already open when he got out of the truck.

His wife says his gas pumping savvy is similar to his other pumping skills. He’s a bit clueless on what buttons to push, and talks about all the wrong things while doing it.
The “crackpot” can’t be trusted alone with a gas pump. Where’s the wife?
What happened to the pull handle on the hose nozzle? When did that go away? I used to enjoy ticking the handle to get the pump to read an even number and fill up for $12.00 and complain about the cost while earning $3.80 per hour.
Am I old and out of touch or just been away too long (Yes. Thank you God!).

Reminds me of those commercials where you need to call in to access a business’s service.
