New Record High Temperatures and a Weird Month...July 2023 was an unusual month, with sudden warmth and a few record or near-record high temperatures...Since the satellite record began in 1979, July 2023 was...warmest July on record (global average)...warmest absolute temperature (since July is climatologically the warmest month)

Roy Spencer and his colleague (forget his name) have been posting this satellite data for four decades.

They are border line Climate Skeptics, and they have both been full Professors at the University of Alabama-Huntsville for decades.

They believe the Tonga Island undersea volcano explosion may have had an impact by injecting a huge amount of Greenhouse Gas water vapor into the stratosphere.

Regardless, the July 2023 satellite heat data is going to cause world record levels of Global Warming propaganda!

This article is about just one month of July, so we can't make too much of it. But perhaps the brief cooling we've experienced for a decade is over and the Modern Warm Period is resuming as normal. I predict it'll last another 2 to 4 centuries (assuming it lasts 4 to 6 centuries like the past few warm periods did).

If you look at the spreadsheet it’s interesting that since 2022 the temps have bounced around in a pretty tight range until last month when they spiked. That would tell me that something caused the spike other than it being the result of a natural progressive increase of temps.

Bastardi is leaning towards the Tonga volcano and water vapor as is NASA and the ESA.

Ah, c’mon. I want it to be 70 degrees during the day and 50 degrees during the night, until I don’t want either of those when I grow bored of the same temperatures day and night. Just give me a thermostat that I can turn up and down. Oops, I already have one of those and it works too!

If you are making a 400 year prediction you need to back such up with something like a Tontine (sp?). That way if you are wrong the rest of us will collect. :)
