Dan Goldman (D-NY) addressed reporters on a break to try and minimize the impact of Archer’s testimony, acknowledging that Hunter Biden frequently placed his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, on speakerphone while meeting with business associates but attempting to handwave the significance away as just “talking about the weather” and other niceties.

The Vice-President takes 20 calls from his son to talk about the weather.

Devon Archer, testified today that Joe Biden met with Russia’s Yelena Baturina, Putin's friend, (above) who later invested $40 million in Hunter Biden’s real estate ventures.

She also paid Hunter Biden $3.5 million in consulting fees.
