Biden backed out because he was told that since it was not in the court plea it didn’t exist no matter what the DOJ told Jim.
I have read many articles about Judge Maryellen Noreika but I’ve not seen one comment that outright complemented her so I will.

This is one appointment Trump got right!
She was confirmed by Voice Vote, which means no Democrat Senators felt compelled to be on the record voting against her.
It appears that she was approved out of the Judiciary Committee without objection because no vote was given.
Anyway - every District Judge that gets a Voice Vote leans Left by definition as far as I am concerned.
Do not expect her favorable opinions to continue.
