I served, and serving doesn’t give one the right to send others to death.
It also doesn’t absolve you of being criticized.
Not our country, not our ally, not our business.

Dismissing all of those in charge as a separate issue is childish at best.

Congrats and thanks for your service. You can criticize my opinion. Dont insult me by saying I can have that opinion because I am safe at home.

Good day.

I spent 10 years in the Middle East and witnessed first-hand the results of using Cluster bombs. Innocent people suffer the most.

Only people in the West believe the Ukrainians are winning. The people of the US are not winning. Look at our economy. Look at the crime rate. Look at our schools. The focus of our leaders is helping ours instead of our own people.

Look at Europe. France is burning. England is a sh*thole. But their governments are sending aid and are focused on the Ukrainians.

What if Russia or China deployed troops to Mexico? Would the US be concerned?

You are only right about the first part. Ukraine is not the USA, we all know that.

But Ukraine is our ally, and for many years has supported the west, the USA, and the goals of NATO. Ukraine even entered into an agreement with the USA to give up their ICBMs and nuclear weapons. We promised to protect them.

Russia's invasion of a neighboring country is certainly our business. Stopping their expansionist goals in Ukraine is a lot better option than stopping them in Estonia, or Poland, or Turkey, or Romania, or any other place where our NATO commitments would put US soldiers at the zero line fighting.
