This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Seems like a large amount of military age males sitting around enjoying life, wonder if the same can be said of eastern provences
The Germans lost WW2 because the army and the public tired of the war, the soviets lost the war in Afghanistan because the public tired of the loses, loses far less than this conflict and as some say this lead to the collapse of the Soviet Union. Is it not possible that this is the beginning of a similar scenario
The idea of a PMC as an active military component was always interesting and always reminded me of hitlers brown shirts and we know how that ended
It is an interesting dynamic that requires a spark to become a firestorm. As to sacking those two, based on performance, preparation, and combat effectiveness of the military any other military organization would have seen them gone 12-14 months ago. Look how many commanders we sacked before US settled on US Grant. The fact that they are still in charge speaks volumes.
All information from Ukrainians is BS and propaganda is a bold statement. An active military uprising by a component and arguably one of the most effective though not necessarily efficient and apparently utterly dependent on Russian mod for supplies does not appear to me to be just an”propaganda” win for Ukraine. There are real consequences for Russian war effort, moral, and effectiveness.
“ If Prigozhin and his forces prevail, will he be pro Western or will he be more extreme than Putin?”
Likely more extreme.
Prigozhin is literally a career mafia gangster, who spent most of his 20’s in prison. He has no experience governing at any level. He has advocated that Russians need to live like North Koreans foe a few years, to massively mobilize for a larger war effort.
It is hard to see him being accepted in International diplomacy as anything but a brutish dictator
Seems I have seen several examples of him disparaging the “grandfather” and ultimately he is responsible for those two still holding their positions unless your contention is that Putin is not really in control
One option is that Putin is truly at his hitler in bunker moment and is actually brutally unaware of the real situation on the ground and I can see this as a real possibility if he is being fed only “information “ from those two
Something that has always interested me is they call him the Wagner financier, what does that mean? He routinely shouts about lack of supplies….. is he the “commander” which it often appears or a figure head.
Without Russian MOD supplies seems he has little but manpower
It makes no sense to underestimate it, but you are now overestimating.
Over estimating perhaps, but one only knows that after the fact. The Allie’s would never land a Normandy…
Tendar. 20min
The Russian regime has set up road block made up by cement trucks at the gates of Moscow. This will be their final stand before the total downfall
Tanks against cement trucks.
Has President Prigozhin selected his new ambassadors yet?
hahaha hohoho.
I think Putin wants to shoot his generals. We’ll see how this pans out.
I assume you are Russian correct me if wrong, regardless or irregardless lol, I would like your thoughts on whether Putin is getting accurate information or is basically being lied to or being told what they think he wants to hear.
My understanding is Putin does not use internet, smart phone and has a relatively small circle where he gets his info.
Thanks
Keith
Did you hear Putin talking on this or that issue? He is obviously more informed than any of the US presidents on your memory.
I hear Putin talking on issues sure, but much of what comes out doesn’t match with reality. Being “informed” doesn’t mean the information is accurate. The comments of the warbloggers after private meeting where they gave him information and he replied something to the effect of I didn’t know that… or his reporting of Ukrainian loses which are extremely inflated show a disconnect between reality and what he is being told.
I am sure we will disagree on this but Russian mod numbers on Ukrainian loses esp when it comes to tanks and aircraft loses are not remotely possible. They report loses many times the total numbers ukraine has ever had.
Set aside all the talk of Ukraine, CIA,NWO, Soros… do you believe that Putin is being given accurate information on the war, Russian loses, status of “SMO”
Do you believe that Putin ordered invasion of Ukraine based on solid information on status of Russian military and expected Ukrainian reaction?
If so how do you explain the results especially in the first few months when western aid was basically limited to ATGMS and even later when a relatively few modern western weapons like 777 and himars exacted a heavy toll on Russian equipment and resulted in wholesale reversals in territorial gains
Are you saying that this was all part of the informed original plan? And as the saying goes “it is all going according to plan”?
Was the pregosian “coup” part of the plan or some kind of elaborate deception?
You appear to be well informed so i am seriously interested in your thoughts
Thanks
Keith
Sorry, but it appears that you are more delusional than Putin based on this comment:)
The notion that Russian estimates for enemy losses are inflated is valid, however it is due to natural occurrences, such as when the target survived with damage, or a decoy was hit, and so on.
Surprisingly, you don’t question Ukrainian assertions that have been plucked from you knows where and multiplied by ten.
Concerning the SMO, it was intended to be a brief police operation and it had merits if Zelensky had acted rationally. Johnson persuaded him to commit to total war, which was illogical, and a challenge was accepted, but with the emphasis remained on minimising civilian casualties.
What is wrong with the status of Russian forces?
And what is the problem with Russia’s military status?
What was “the high toll” inflicted by the M777 and HIMARS? Both systems are in theater in small numbers and offer no advantages that the Russians do not have in spades.
The “reversal of territorial gains” is nonsense. The Russians battle not to hold land, but to kill the adversary while avoiding being killed themselves. The territory is thereafter entirely theirs. It is what they do for a thousand years and winning.
The Prigozhin story is plainly a botched coup attempt.
First I left the Ukrainian assertions aside and was asking you to focus on Russian facts….
As to claims of damaged or decoys… the numbers are so high for Russian MOD as to make validity of the claim dubious
Rationally accepted your country being invaded and territory ceded, perhaps Russia has had a taste of that these past few days, seems they acted “irrationally “
The rest of your comment cements my thoughts about your position on the war….
So have a nice day, off to work
Some of still do that 😀
