Justice Department special counsel John Durham testified on his investigation of “Crossfire Hurricane,” the code name for the FBI’s investigation of links between the 2016 Trump presidential campaign and Russian operatives on Wednesday.
Rep. Matt Gaetz grilled Durham in a heated exchange, saying Durham “let the country down.”

Sounds like Durham is getting it from both ends.
Wasted talk. Why not demand charges, else pursue charges and impeachment?
Durham seems to think that the FBI with all the issues at the top that he demonstrates can reform itself. They are corrupt through and through. From the very top to the bottom. Yes there may be some unimportant people who are fine. But remember they are not the ones who would or have reformed the department. The FBI is a very corrupt political organization. And that is from the top down as far as it matters.

Thank you, Matt G., for speaking up, for confronting Durham face to face, in a manner that is to the point, but not so over the top vicious that it would no longer be part of the public record (Which is what John Durham really deserves!).

Durham Is a deep state piece of chit. His report is substandard and incomplete. If he was a contractor in the private sector hired to produce a report he would be sued. He’s the epitome of a lazy ass government employee that knows nothing bad can happen to him. All he needs to do is get through some hearings and then he’ll get a book deal with a multimillion dollar advance for the 30,000 copies that will be sold.
I am guessing Gaetz didn’t go further because one of the Jurrasic RINOs, i.e. Mitch McConnell, would raise objections and barriers to prevent real change from occurring right now.

The bottom line is Durham safely guided the USS Get Trump into port, and he took years doing it.

In all fairness to Durham, it seems that he didn’t want to pull the same stunts the NeverTrumpers do an add to the corruption of the system. That’s commendable, IHMO.
We got to the place we are in this country because so many Americans allowed the federal government to take on roles that we, ourselves, should have handled. I don’t see the state of corruption in America today as being substantively different than the corruption in Jerusalem 2000 years ago. As long as we appoint leaders instead of taking the mantle and responsibility of leadership on ourselves we will always suffer this kind of corruption.
Gaetz, like the Pharisees of old, speaks truth but does so without placing the responsibility for being a good steward of truth where it belongs.
