On Monday the latest motion of censure against the government of President Emmanuel Macron failed in the National Assembly.

239 of the 577 members supporting it members from the Left and the National Rally along with the deputies from France's overseas territories.

The government-aligned parties do not have a majority in the Assembly either but with the support of the Mainstream "Right" Les Republicains they found a majority to turn back the censure motion.
