Up until very recently, corporate virtual signaling to fringe minority groups really did work. Most corporations were happy to throw them a bone by sponsoring some homosexual parade or whatnot, or encouraging their male employees to wear a pink ribbon for a day in solidarity, knowing that their regular customer base would just keep on buying their products regardless.

The calculation was that they would get in the good graces of these fringe groups as despite their relatively small numbers, they can get quite loud and nasty on social media. So they would bend the knee to them over and over again.

As we all know, once you go down the road of capitulation, the demands never stop. Who knew 20 years ago that parents would be encouraged to sterilize their children and change their gender identification and to take them to drag queen shows, even having their children participate in them.

As Winston Churchill could have told you 90 years ago, this is what happens when you start appeasing monsters. Once small and seemingly insignificant demands are met, more demands will quickly follow. Until the appeasing side finds themselves engulfed in a conflict that they must fight their way out of. When it all could have been stopped in the very beginning just but standing up and showing some backbone.

As the Bud Light and Target fiascos have shown, many people have had enough and are starting to push back. Finally.
