The only way to fight back is to have the GOP control the House and use the power of the purse?

In other words, there’s nothing we can do.

An entire article without the main victim, and it wasn’t Republicans..

It was Trump..

Comey is/was once a Republican right?

Trump was a Democrat once, right?

The R vs D Con is dead.

It’s the Uniparty vs Trump and His MAGA voters..

The R team appears to be full of domestic enemies too..

FBI is secret militarized intelligence police for democrat party. So is the CIA.

The list of crimes committed by the FBI and CIA is stunning.

Simply put, Treason, on a massive scale, for years and years.

And, it continues now. The government is now a rogue thug gang to protect and participate in theft on massive scale by Biden crime family, Clinton crime family, Obama junta and deep state operatives.

There is no other way to describe it.

there is no recourse to remedy it

I disagree, but it would require an actual American that believes in this country and doing the right thing to be the Speaker of the House or Senate Majority Leader. McCarthy could empanel a select committee today and Subpoena every last one of these Quislings and Hold them in Contempt of Congress, JAIL them and have them all transferred to GITMO until the end of the Congressional Session.

"U.S. CODE TITLE 2--THE CONGRESS CHAPTER 6--CONGRESSIONAL AND COMMITTEE PROCEDURE; INVESTIGATIONS Sec. 193. Privilege of witnesses No witness is privileged to refuse to testify to any fact, or to produce any paper, respecting which he shall be examined by either House of Congress, or by any joint committee established by a joint or concurrent resolution of the two Houses of Congress, or by any committee of either House, upon the ground that his testimony to such fact or his production of such paper may tend to disgrace him or otherwise render him infamous." Simply look up Hinds Precedents, especially chapters 53 and 51, and Cannon's Precedents, especially chapters 184-185. You'll find numerous detailed cases of Congress asserting its power, arresting people, holding them until they agreed to answer questions, and then releasing them. Some of these people did not refuse to appear, but simply failed to satisfactorily answer questions. Congress has the authority to arrest and imprison those found in Contempt. The power extends throughout the United States and is an inherent power (does not depend upon legislated act) If found in Contempt the person can be arrested under a warrant of the Speaker of the House of Representatives or President of the Senate, by the respective Sergeant at Arms. Statutory criminal contempt is an alternative to inherent contempt. Under the inherent contempt power Congress may imprison a person for a specific period of time or an indefinite period of time, except a person imprisoned by the House of Representatives may not be imprisoned beyond adjournment of a session of Congress. Imprisonment may be coercive or punitive. In 1924 an oil executive appeared but refused to answer certain questions, so the Senate held -- literally held -- him in contempt. Senator Thomas Walsh of Montana argued that this question of contempt was of the gravest importance, and that it involved "the very life of the effective existence of the House of Representatives of the United States and of the Senate of the United States." The matter was taken to court, and the witness fined and imprisoned.

You can see how there is a two-tiered justice system today- a soft one for the left and a harsh one for the right. You can see that there is no accountability for wrongdoing.

The videos of Hunter alone are enough to throw him in jail. There's two possible explanations why he's not in jail: 1) the GOP lacks the stones to do what's right, or 2) if they do jail Hunter, Daddy will issue an executive pardon. Does that bring in double jeopardy into play? If so, wait until Trump win the Presidency and then throw both their sorry a$$es in jail.

we are very close to a totalitarian fascist state. We are. Lose the next election and it’s here. You can see how there is a two-tiered justice system today- a soft one for the left and a harsh one for the right. You can see that there is no accountability for wrongdoing. We’re in a lot more danger than most realize.

Some revolutions come with a whimper, rather than a bang.

It’s becoming increasingly hard to want to fight for republicans. I know the democrats are evil incarnate but spinelessRINOs are only a bit better.

“Information from confidential human sources is unverified and, by definition, incomplete,” wrote FBI acting assistant director for congressional affairs Christopher Dunham, who also argued that informant reports must also be kept private to protect sources.

Unless it might damage a Republican, and then it's leaked to Buzzfeed with the FBI's imprimatur.

Well, Dr. J found the blind-pig-meets-acorn-on-the-stopped-clock-twice-a-day, but only at the conclusion, and he gets it wrong as well:

"The power of the purse. It’s all they got.

It is incumbent upon them to shut down these agencies and start over. They are irrevocably corrupt. The FBI must be dismantled. It has gone completely rogue and is doing more harm than good. There is nothing worse than working to overthrow an election. The House must demand that the Director and the entire 7th floor resign or shut off its funding. It must demand that the DOJ funding be halved, and the same for the CIA unless structural changes are made.

I recently wrote that we are very close to a totalitarian fascist state. We are."

As I noted in a previous post, the Church Committee in 1975 was the last serious Congressional effort to reign in a then-burgeoning Deep State, and while Sen. Church walked away with some transitory wins, one of the most-unfortunate outcomes, was the creation of the FISA Court!

So the only thing that is going to offer even the opportunity to beat back the Deep State is, for lack of a better word, a personal gesture that captures the moment for the average American and forces us to confront the Deep State and not just defund them, but exile them, as the Romans would have done.

That's the beauty of RFKjr's run. He simply announced and a month later polled 21% with no ads and only a limited NE media run. His second interview after filing to run? 'The CIA killed my father and my uncle.' Popped right up from 5% to 21%.

You want an opportunity at retribution against both The White Hospice and The Deep State? Pimp the everlasting truck out of RFKjr. Renew Rush's Operation Chaos in every blue state primary. Trump will beat him like a rented mule in the general, but RFKjr will have handed Trump the ammo to make neutering the Deep State his Day One agenda. After he signs the EO re-establishing the Mexico City Policy.

The only way to fight back has been cemented in my tagline below, which has remained the same, word for word, since the 2000 Presidential Election.

True then. True since then. True now.

Evil only prospers as long as good men do nothing.

If not now, when? If not us, who?

How long, O Lord? How long must we suffer this?

The only way out of this is a military intervention. The corruption is too ingrained to be rooted out any other way.
