Depleted of what exactly?
Non-radioactive. Uranium in the ground is slightly radioactive.
Natural uranium is about 0.7% U-235, 99.3% U-238 and a trace of other isotopes. Depleted uranium has had the more radioactive U-235 removed for bombs and reactors leaving the depleted uranium with a larger proportion of U-238. It is still radioactive, just less so than the same amount of natural uranium.
