U.S. — A new USA Today poll has found that an overwhelming majority of Democrats are in favor of welcoming immigrants from Central and South America into other people's neighborhoods.
The study showed that Democrats are very pro-immigration as long as the immigration is to areas very far away from themselves.
"We found that 92% of liberal Americans are 'strongly in favor' of as many immigrants as possible moving into the country, as long as they never have to see them or deal with them in person," said the study's lead researcher, Dr. Henry Bollickson. "When we posed the question of whether immigrants should be welcomed with open arms into other people's areas, Democrats were strongly in favor of that idea. But when we posed the question of whether immigrants should be welcomed into one's own city, neighborhood, or home, the number of Democrats in favor of that idea went down dramatically."
"This just goes to show that Democrats are some of the most loving and welcoming people, as long as other people are doing the, you know, loving and welcoming."
At publishing time, sources had also confirmed that a majority of Democrats are in favor of raising taxes to pay for social programs, as long as the taxes are paid by other people.
More gold from the Babylon Bee.
Pretty much the truth.
That’s definitely not satire!
The Bee may go out of business. Their satire on political events is now becoming reality.
The proof of this "joke" was the immediate reaction of getting a busload of "migrants" to Martha's Vineyard. It is time for a busload a day to be sent there, with video documentation of the kindly liberals' deeds....
More gold from the Babylon Bee.
When did the Bee become a straight news site?
Poll: Most Democrats In Favor Of Welcoming Immigrants Into Red States
NIMBY raised to an exponential level. “Not you, not me, but get the guy behind the tree.”
In another county, or even in another state.
Your average suburban Republican isn’t all that different here.
“Democrats are in favor of raising taxes to pay for social programs, as long as the taxes are paid by other people.”
The rich.
I asked a longtime Democrat for the definition of rich. He said “anyone who makes a dollar more than me.” That about sums it up.
I remember an interview with Ted Turner. He wanted to increase taxes on the rich. The interviewer reminded him that his net worth was more $300 million. He looked horrified and said “I’m not rich, I’m talking about increasing taxes on billionaires.”
Increasing taxes on “the rich” is usually a prescription for increasing taxes on oneself, but it’s hardly ever seen that way. The ultra-rich, including Ted Turner, have lawyers and tax accountants to minimize their taxes. If they do have to pay more to the IRS, they will reduce their (job producing) investments.
100% true.
Maybe the Marxist Dems are trying to condition Americans with illegals. After the dollar collapses, and your IRA and other retirements are worthless, you won’t have any choice but to accept illegals because the gov’t will pay you to accommodate them.
I don’t think that’s satire.
It’s real
Well, the wonderful people of Martha’s Vineyard said they were culturally enriched just as they were giving their wetbacks the bum’s rush onto the buses outta town.
“Your average suburban Republican isn’t all that different here.”
At least Republicans don’t make a big deal of virtue-signaling their love of immigrants, then flip-flop and not accept them.
Besides, “Immigrant” these days is code for poorly-educated third-worlders, many who may have diseases, belong to cartels, and have no skills. Who wants people like that as neighbors?
We saw this in action when the illegals landed in Martha’s Vineyard. They weren’t there two days before the locals had them shipped off the island.
So tell me exactly WHO wants unlimited hot and cold running illegal aliens.
NIMBY or ISEBY?
Sounds like a back story about Martha’s Vineyard.
