An update to the LinkedIn employment service allows recruiters to filter job candidates by race.
The move was made in the name of diversity, reports The Daily Wire.
Users now have the option to “allow demographic information to be used in LinkedIn recruiting features to help recruiters find a more “diverse group of qualified candidates.”
Specifically, a user can highlight their race, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation to help them land a job.

This will make it very easy for people to run the classic blind test, filing multiple applications that differ only in the racial box checked.

Exactly.
That is what those “mean” southern senators said in 1964.
It was always anti-white racism.
Corporate America now aems to embrace bad ideas.
They have only done this because they believe it will get non-standard people more jobs and enable recruiters to skip those evil White/Christian/males.
Sauce for the goose. Perhaps this feature can be used to skip over highly privileged members of government-certified victim groups.
A lot will be said, but less software will be licensed.
How many Fortune 500 companies authorize just the use of LinkedIn...?

I deleted my LinkedIn account years ago. It was a net negative.

And, if there is a benefit to the company, are employees clued in on it...
I am convinced that google, for many years, has been developing artificial intelligence to censor search results. It is relatively sophisticated and almost impossible to detect or prove definitively. The problem for them now is that they are stuck trying to catch up with chatGPT. Because their AI chatbot system sucks. Manipulating and censoring search results is very different from answering complex questions using a “large language model”. Hopefully they will be destroyed by their psychological manipulation efforts.

As for LinkedIn, it has always at best a nest of lies and distortions. I had a LinkedIn profile at the end of my career and quickly recognized the quid pro quo game of recommending others skills. Looking at my profile you would have thought I was a geothermal nuclear economist brain surgeon practicing software engineering. It was just keeping up with the Joneses.
I am so glad I am retired.

I’m registered on LinkedIn by a guy who’s been dead 20 years. My peers know how to look me up. Screw the rest. It provides me privacy with observation.
There are (virtually) no American technical recruiters anymore. And the Indian recruiters will not place/hire Americans.
They don’t seem to realize that this exposes who the privileged really are. They would be the ones highlighting or drawing attention to their race to get perks and privileges.
Wait until someone has the unmitigated gall to request only white heterosexual males for a position.
THEN the excrement will hit the oscillating air moving device!
You being placed by an Indian recruiter is very rare. And I bet you noticed, if you do happen to get into an Indian shop, you will be treated like a second class citizen, no matter what your skill level or experience is.
