As Twitchy readers know, AOC recently spoke with Jen ‘Circle Back’ Psaki about using government regulation to stifle the speech of people like Tucker Carlson, who she claims clearly engages in ‘incitement of violence’.
What does this incitement to violence look like? Telling the public what liberals are doing. That’s it. That’s why she hates Tucker Carlson.
Unsurprisingly, AOC was quite pleased to hear that Tucker and Fox News were parting ways, and the congresswoman turned the camera on herself to spread her speech-squashing satisfaction on the perfect platform for such pronouncements: Chinese-owned TikTok.
She summarized her thoughts by saying ‘deplatforming works and it is important’.

That’s right, according to Authoritarian Ocasio-Cortez, it is important to silence dissenting opinions.
An entire generation of activist progressives have been raised to participate in our political system by declaring their opponents to be evil and then trying to silence them because they have declared them to be evil.
We’re left with young people who lack the intellect to defend their ideas, coupled with a moral conviction of their rightness that’s barely distinguishable from religion.

Exactly this. AOC is right that deplatforming works.
When you’ve trained your core supporters to oppose whomever you accuse of ‘hate’, but they have the intellectual depth of a Mojave mud puddle, exposure to other viewpoints cannot be tolerated.

Yeah, we think AOC is being a bit naïve to believe Tucker’s exit from Fox News is tantamount to ‘deplatforming’. It’s more a matter of where he’ll be ‘platformed’ next, and his reach very well could be larger.

Somebody should have done their best to keep Carlson on Fox; he had something to say. Better to get rid of AOC, Psaki, & a few more like them & try to insure Carlson staying on Fox. AOC has no business in the position she’s in.
