FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways, according to a statement released on Monday.
“We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor,” said Fox News in a statement.

I used to listen to him and Rush on the radio. Hannity’s heart was in the right place, but unlike Rush, he could not make an argument from start to finish.
I remember a segment on T.V. where he coaxed college students along until they finally agreed to “from each according to their ability; to each according to their need.” Case closed according to Hannity.
Well, OK, I get it that they agreed to a central Marxist principle, one which fails in practice. However, I imagine that those college kids, and many viewers saw nothing amiss. Rush would have closed the loop and explained how that principle is impossible to achieve and how much harm has been done in the attempt.
Hannity probably would not see the need to explain the “obvious,” especially, if he was not prepared to do so.
Bring in some of the better Fox talent, some OAN talent, some former Fox talent, a few Blaze alums, and people like Julie Kelly.
A liberal friend heard on CNN that he was fired. Was he fired?
Clearing the decks and not hiding it.
Silence political opposition.
Rigged election process.
Importing millions of new voters.
Cancelled all dimrat debates.

The Smart move for the stable of Fox stars including Hannity, Ingraham, Perino, Faulkner, Bartiromo, etc would be to leave for a small competing network with a consideration of obtaining ownership shares.
No problem here. Maybe if he had gone with an in house audience like shawn scammity? Dr. Phil light?
The establishment is constructing the Paul Ryan narrative that all fringe voices outside the middle need to be cleared from the airwaves. Tucker/Lemon et. al. Time to dial the Fox viewership button to Zero.

Hannity is nowhere close to Carlson in intellect....plus he has insane run-on diatribes that rarely have nay relevance to the topic being discussed.
Interestingly, Glenn Beck was saying today that when he left Fox (of his own accord, because they wouldn’t let him talk aobu tcertain subjects), the press release said that “Fox News Media and Glenn Beck have agreed to part ways.”
I suspect Tucker was forced out, but not exactly fired. They probably wanted to make him change his show in ways that he wasn’t comfortable with, and he said no, so they told him the only other alternative was to leave, paid him off, and issued their meaningless press release.
