Do any of you Trump supporters truly believe that Desantis has a terrible record as Florida governor?
Are any undecided out there moved to support Trump because of Trump bashing DeSantis?
I live in Florida. If Trump keeps this nonsense up the poll numbers he keeps bragging about are going to start sliding.
I believed in MAGA. And I continue to believe in MAGA.
But this nonsense is one reason why I have moved away from Trump. Trump is Patton. Patton might win battles, but he does not win wars. Eisenhower wins wars.
Ronald Reagan was an Ike-like politician. Reagan knew how to build coalitions. And he knew what was the right thing to say, at the right time. Trump understands none of this. Trump throws bombs whenever he feels like throwing bombs.
I might still vote for Trump if he has the greater ‘MAGA x electability’ product. But this is seeming less and less likely. And more’s the pity for that.
I watched the full Tim Pool/ Ramaswamy podcast today and learned some new things about DeSantis. He may have done some good things for Florida but he is a phony. A typical politician.
