Andrew Napolitano : "Jack Teixeria is an American hero for telling the American public that their government has been lying to them and people are dying as a result of the lying. And, that American dollars are being wasted as a result of the lies."
The Left only calls them “whistle blowers” if they report on corporations, not government. They don’t understand that governments are just like corporations, only with more power.
I don’t consider him a hero, he broke the chain of command and numerous laws, so he has to be punished, unfortunately the precedent was set by Obama based on his treatment of Chelsea Manning and Bowe Bergdahl.
However, if the documents are proven to be true and given how the government is reacting, it would appear they are true, then many in Government deserve to be punished as well from Biden on down, from that perspective the disclosure of all the lies is a service to the country but he still has to be punished.
It should only be legal to release top secret information if you want to impress your gamer friends online.

Agreed, he signed on knowing the rules. That said, this perhaps can be a warning to the slow Joe administration, and as that is exactly what the Democrats did for 4 years during the Trump administration, fair play.
This administration ( and the western MSM) is lying about Ukraine, the whole world knows this- for that reason I hope ALL their lies and omissions brings wrath upon them.
nato is
a liberal - bolshevik play thing
how did that ever happen
thanks obama
Respectfully, what you wrote was utter nonsense
Here it is:
“He broke the chain of command and numerous laws,
He signed on knowing the rules.”
What rules?
Take Daniel Ellsberg. A well connected intellectual who leaked a secrets to the New York Times back during the Vietnam War.
The Great United States Supreme Court said that the Times had the right to publish them. In a special edition bestselling book! And Ellsberg became a hero to our elite.
Please tell us, what rules re you talking about?
Not real ones, obviously.
Here is Real Rule No 1. If youre a member of the elite, you can do anything.
FINALLY, somebody beside me who sees who is really running things!
I understand the necessity of the chain of command. However, if you discover information that the top of the chain of command is dirty, that chain of command is corrupted and you need to go to the next level, which is the American people. How far down the military structure did officers know but did nothing. You expect this guy’s sergeant, lieutenant, captain, or major to be able to do something?
The kid shouldn’t have been able to get that far, there was a failure somewhere.
Somebody left a door cracked. Why?
The kid isn’t a hero, he’s a tool.
“for telling the American public...”
Except he didn’t tell the American public. He told a few friends in his private chat room and swore them all to secrecy. So Napolitano has his facts wrong.
“The Great United States Supreme Court said that the Times had the right to publish them.”
Yes, but the right of the press (or any private individual actually) to publish that doesn’t mean that the person who leaks it has not committed a crime. They are two separate issues.
napolitano is a dick
Well he sure likes dick.
I don’t disagree with Andrew Napolitano, but just because he’s right doesn’t make it legal. On the other hand, in the military, it’s also illegal to disobey an order but illegal also to obey an illegal one. Is this kind of the same thing?
I assumed the Judge was busy chasing male waiters in NJ to comment .
I consider him a fool. If this guy was in fact an IT employee he should have known he was leaving a IT trail right to his parents from door. A smart IT guy, that would be considered a hero should have left the info at a dead drop site for some Washington Post or NYT reporter to become famous.
Has anyone even seen a list of the leaked documents?
Why isn’t the media discussing the contents and revelations like pentagon papers and snowden leaks???? or have they quashed the docs off any internet source? are folks believing that 100 docs were leaked?
I don’t see any wrongdoing uncovered by the contents of these documents.
The wrongdoing revealed is that this dork had access to the secret information he had no need to know.
Agreed on your points. I am predicting he will be treated much different in the liberal than those before him because of politics.
