I try to support some local restaurants. But my goodness. The prices are insane. Fish and chips $25. A beer $8 A milk at breakfast was $5. I can’t blame the owners because they got hammered by covid and can’t recover with Bidenflation.

As for Portland. Wall off the city and let it burn,

I have lived in many places in this world and found Portland to be the most anti business I have ever seen.
Its been like that for over 20 years.

Sheesh, Di Leo barely mentions the socialist, pro-crime mayor, the devastating “Defund the Police” effort, the endless arson and property destruction by antifa and BLM, the unbelievable number of bums in the downtown area, the spread of homeless and squatters to the nearby suburbs, the horrible pro-criminal DA, the filthy nature of downtown, the destroyed statues and other public art, and on and on and on.

I don’t think he has read much about Portland, has not talked to Andy Ngo, and certainly has not set foot in the city.

Have the voters learned anything from these recent years of unforced errors?

Doubtful.

will the usual suspects, against all reason, triumph again as usual?

To the tune of 100%, I predict.

EXCERPT of Federalist article by Christopher Bedford:

“Portland, Oregon, where two days ago [August 26, 2021] political gangs roamed freely, beating people, including women, and even opening fire downtown. Meanwhile the police, who have been threatened with government action if they intervene, were nowhere to be seen.”
