If indeed this person Audrey/Aiden was “high functioning” autistic, it reinforces an article I read a few days ago about autistic people being more susceptible to harmful influences. They tend to hyperfocus on ideas that were suggested or introduced to them by others they trust. Audrey/Aiden may have been influenced to address her personality disorders by the “cure” of becoming transgender. This only led to even more complex personality dysphoria, coupled with resentment and eventually a militant desire to stage a dramatic suicide-by-cop.
