The announcement came just one day before a Swedish court gave Thunberg and hundreds of other climate activists approval “to proceed with a class action lawsuit against the Swedish state for ‘insufficient climate policy,'” Reuters reported.“Thunberg, and 600 other young activists in a group called Aurora, sued the Swedish state in November, claiming it had to do more to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius in order to live up to the European Convention on Human Rights,” the outlet reported Tuesday.
The honorary degree aside, this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. The Swedish government is responsible for global warming... all by itself (that is, if one even actually believes in such a thing as global warming)?

Does Greta believe in God? Sweden is 57% Christian, 33% agnostic or atheist, the rest mostly Muslim. Probably the percentage of believers is smaller among the young as it is in many other countries.
