Especially when you are preaching civility. I think there is a word for that.

Sorry, Bray! Should have put the /s to show I was being sarcastic! I actually think it’s descriptive, not perjorative. With your faux outrage I was just humoring you and condescending to you. But you couldn’t leave it alone, so clarification is required

What’s amusing is many of the biggest Only Trumpers now were at one time much the same for Cruz. I remember knock down drag out debates here over TPP when Cruz was supporting it. What goes around comes around.

Way to go, Trump?

What exactly do you mean by that? That this is all Pres Trump’s doing?

“ Porn star and hush money. Not political or underhanded at all....”

Isn’t that the essence of the expected charges against Trump? Is Desantis expected to comment on the possible indictment but ignore what the indictment is about? At least Desantis called it an “alleged” affair…

Vance looked into this and saw nothing.

Bragg looked into this and saw nothing.

Timing is everything and would you look at the timing?

Ukraine isn’t doing good and there’s a chance for more escalation……Xi in Russia for a formal State dinner and to assemble the new axis of evil……Saudis making friend with a former enemy, Iran …… Banks crashing and bailouts to millionaires and billionaires ….. Border completely out of control, cartels building boats to ferry more folks into our country …. Crime rampant and NYPD hemorrhaging cops non-stop …. Train accident, environmental disaster wiped from the headlines …. MarALago raid gets nothing and they’re still finding docs that Biden had no business having.

On top of all that…..Comer allegedly has documents proving the Biden’s got paid by the CCP and were using the widow to try and wash the money. Comer reporting that much more is to come.

But wait……stop the presses…..then CIVILIAN Donald Trump may have made a clerical error on taxes, and a misdemeanor becomes a felony somehow and here we are.

As for what DeSantis said, Pres Trump has said what he said, so DeSantis can say what he wants. However, if Pres Trump said, Uncle, and walked away, the very same folks will be doing the very same things to DeSantis. If he can’t see that, he ain’t smart.

Why was it incumbent on Desantis to comment on rumors? Personally, I think it is refreshing to see a politician that does not feel the need to comment on every rumor that comes down the line the moment it comes out. Nothing wrong with waiting for the facts to come out before taking a position.

And Desantis was not forced to do anything. He was asked a question and answered it quite eloquently.

So I guess you don’t believe Desantis can be president unless he violates the Constitution?

“ A Person charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State, shall on Demand of the executive Authority of the State from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the State having Jurisdiction of the Crime.”

I don’t see anything there giving a governor discretion over that…. I guess you agree with the Left that the Constitution is just so much toilet paper when it gets in the way of what you want.

You certainly have a proclivity for jumping to absurd conclusions, CA. No, note tagline. Get some rest. You’ve worked yourself up into a spasm.

How have I jumped to an absurd conclusion? You specifically said that if Desantis did not violate the Constitution by refusing to extradite Trump if he is indicted, he is not presidential material. Not a lot of nuance in that…

"I have no interest in getting involved in some type of manufactured circus by some Soros DA," DeSantis said.

“…look, I don’t know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair,” he added. “I just, I can’t speak to that, but…”

That was a childish swipe at Trump - and he will live to regret it.

"DeSantis is obligated to refuse to extradite a Citizen of Florida to this manufactured circus (his own words)--in fact, to protect President Trump or any Citizen of Florida. If DeSantis fails to do so, he is DEFINITELY NOT Presidential material."
DeSantis didn't commit himself, but can you imagine the political theater of Governor DeSantis stepping in to rescuing Trump from being arrested by people sent from New York City. DeSantis should be salivating at the thought of the opportunity.

Well, almost every other prominent Republican commented before he did. Even Pence did.

He was quite conspicuous by his silence.

DeSantis has no legal authority to “block” anything. This is a “criminal” case in the County of New York, in the City of New York, in the State of New York. Be careful about the precedent that you want DeSantis to set. If a Governor, can refuse extradition on political grounds, you can’t bitch when a liberal Governor refuses to extradite Antifa scumbags or Cop killers to Red States. The Supreme Court has ruled on this.

Wrong. MAGA, Inc. is a PAC. By law, Trump can have nothing to do with it.

Finally? I am surprised he reacted at all given that he’s not a candidate yet. But I think whether you support Trump or not, any real Republican is angered by the partisan administration of justice.

That said, you know that if the roles were reversed and it were DeSantis that were being prosecuted, Trump would be on the side of the prosecutor.
